Effective 2026-07-29. This policy explains how ClerAEO AI (“we”, “us”) handles information collected through cleraeoai.com and the ClerAEO AI product.

What we collect

• Contact details you submit - email address, name, company, website - when you request a demo, a free scan, unlock the findings of the free AI readiness check, or join a mailing list.
• The website address you enter into the free AI readiness check. The check itself fetches only pages that are already public at that address and queries no AI models; the address is stored alongside your request so we can send you the findings.
• Account and workspace data when you use the product: your brand name, domain, tracked prompts, competitors, and the scan results we generate for you.
• Basic technical information with form submissions (IP address and browser user-agent) used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

• Run the scans and analyses you request and deliver the results.
• Respond to demo and contact requests.
• Operate, secure and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workspace data to market to your competitors.

Third parties we rely on

Your data is processed by the infrastructure we run on: Supabase (database and authentication), our hosting provider, and the AI model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) used to run scans. Scan prompts sent to model APIs describe your brand and category; they do not include your contact details. If you book a call via our scheduling link, Calendly processes the details you enter there under its own policy.

Retention

Contact submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them. Workspace data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request when you close it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@cleraeoai.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

Cookies

The marketing site sets no tracking cookies. The product uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and note the change on this page.
